Christians flee Syria after attacks by Sunni extremists

A rebel commander in Syria has claimed that his forces are pushing towards the centre of the country's biggest city, Aleppo, and could take control within days.

Rebel forces have been fighting heavily-armed government troops for the past week, forcing thousands of residents to flee.

The country's divisions are becoming increasingly sectarian and Christians - who account for 10% of the population - are caught in the middle.
