UN members accused of supporting terrorists in Syria

Syria's foreign minister has accused a number of countries of supporting terrorist activity within the country.

During a speech to the UN General Assembly, Walid Muallem claimed that certain members of the UN Security Council were actively aiding terrorists within Syria.

Mr Muallem also said that certain countries were purposefully interfering in the domestic affairs of the state by imposing illegal and immoral sanctions.

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar were highlighted in particular during the speech at the United Nations.
