Egypt's new constitution 'approved'

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt says preliminary results from the referendum on a new constitution show a significant majority backing the controversial draft law.

In the second round on Saturday more than 70% of votes were in favour, but turn-out was just over 30%.

The main Egyptian opposition party, the National Salvation Front, does not dispute the figures, but it has complained of irregularities during the voting.
