UN weapons team ready to enter Syria

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has said a UN team is in Cyprus and ready to enter Syria to investigate allegations that chemical weapons have been used in the country.

Speaking in the Hague Ban Ki-moon said: "I can announce today that an advance team is now in Cyprus for the final stage... We are ready."
