Egypt unrest: 'Scores killed' in Cairo protest

More than 100 people have been killed at a protest supporting ousted Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi in Cairo, doctors say.

Most of the dead appear to have been shot when the army opened fire, with the Muslim Brotherhood accusing the military of shooting to kill.

They say more than 1,500 were injured in the incident - but the government says the soldiers were fired on first, and the death toll has been exaggerated.
