Egypt doctor blames snipers for deaths and injuries

Many people have been killed after battles erupted in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, between supporters of the deposed president, Mohammad Morsi, and security forces.

The doctor in charge of one field hospital which is treating pro Morsi supporters, says more than 100 people died there and over a thousand people have been injured.

Dr Hesham Ibrahim said he believed the casualties had been shot in the head by snipers.
