Egypt crisis: 'Gunshots fired towards mosque'
Gunfire has been heard at a mosque in Egypt's capital, Cairo, following a stand-off with Muslim Brotherhood supporters who have barricaded themselves in.
Dozens of supporters have refused to leave the building, fearing for their safety.
Television pictures showed security forces firing up towards the main minaret.
The BBC's James Reynolds in Cairo says the atmosphere in the area around the mosque is very tense.
