Egypt's Hosni Mubarak appears in court days after release

Egyptian courts have heard separate cases against the former president, Hosni Mubarak, and top leaders of his arch rivals, the Muslim Brotherhood.

All face allegations of involvement in the killing of protesters during the uprisings which saw Mubarak and then, eventually, the Muslim Brotherhood ousted from power.
