Syria crisis: Neighbours worried by military strike threat

Concern is growing in the countries neighbouring Syria as the threat of military action looms after the US and UK said the Assad government was behind a chemical weapons attack on the outskirts of Damascus.

The Assad government has denied the claims, blaming the rebels for the 21 August attack, but has said Syria would defend itself against any aggression.
