John Kerry: Syria needs political, not military solution

The US and Russia have agreed a framework for the declaration and destruction of Syria's chemical weapons.

US Secretary of State John Kerry said there had to be a political solution to the crisis in Syria, and removing its weapons of mass destruction would make the region safer.
