Rally against BAE shipyard job cuts in Portsmouth

More than 200 people joined a rally in Portsmouth on Saturday, in protest against BAE's announcement that it was to stop shipbuilding in the city.

The defence company confirmed cuts to its shipyards across the UK earlier this week.

Almost 1800 jobs will go in total, and 940 of those will be in Portsmouth, home to the navy.

Reporter Briony Leyland was there.
