Ariel Sharon funeral: Netanyahu hails 'great military commander'
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been paying tribute to former leader Ariel Sharon at a state memorial service in Jerusalem.
He described Mr Sharon, who died on Saturday following eight years in a coma, as "one of the greatest military commanders Israel has had".
Mr Sharon, regarded by many Israelis as a great warrior and statesmen but widely loathed in the Arab world, was 85.
