Netanyahu: Palestinian leader must 'abandon' Hamas unity pact

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told the BBC that the Palestinian administration must drop its pact with Hamas before it can continue peace talks with Israel.

Speaking to the BBC's Middle East Editor Jeremy Bowen, Mr Netanyahu said that he would never negotiate with a Palestinian government backed by Hamas.
