Israel claims Mahmoud Abbas is 'embracing extremists'
Israel has expressed its concerns that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is "embracing extremists" by announcing a reconciliation deal with Hamas.
Fatah and Hamas announced on Wednesday that they will try to form a unity government in the coming weeks.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Mr Abbas would have to choose between peace with Israel and peace with Hamas.
Israeli government spokesman, Mark Regev said: "This is a move by President Abbas away from peace, away from reconciliation".
