Egypt: Lifting the lid on the military's influence

Egypt's military-installed government has resigned to allow for the appointment of a new cabinet, following the swearing in of the new President, Abdul Fattah al-Sisi.

As well as exercising political influence for more than half a century, the military is a major player in the economy.

With Sisi in the Presidency, its vast business interests are expected to grow.
