Sunni militants invade Iraq's biggest oil refinery

Iraq's biggest oil refinery has been invaded by Sunni-led Islamist militants.

The Baiji oil refinery lies 210km (130 miles) north of Baghdad. It was attacked in the early hours of Wednesday morning with insurgents reportedly using mortars and machine guns.

The attack on the refinery comes as government forces have made new air strikes on ISIS militants as they continue their advance on the capital Baghdad.
