Israeli teenager killed in occupied Golan Heights
Israel's Defence Ministry says a 15 year-old boy was killed in the occupied Golan Heights on the Israeli-Syria border when a blast hit the vehicle he was travelling in.
Two others including the boy's father, a contractor, were injured.
Military officials say the attack came from inside Syria and that Israeli tanks fired on Syrian army positions in response.
The boy's death is the first fatality on the Israeli side of the plateau since the Syrian conflict began three years ago.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers have shot dead a Palestinian man in the West Bank city of Nablus, Palestinian officials say.
He would be the third Palestinian to have died in clashes with Israeli troops searching for the students.
Another Palestinian was reportedly killed in separate clashes in Ramallah. Israel says it is checking the reports.
