Hamas 'defiant' as Gaza casualty toll rises

The Israeli military has stepped up its ground offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, as Palestinian officials say the death toll in Gaza is now past 300.

But Israel says the ground operation is necessary to target a network of Hamas tunnels. On Saturday morning two of their soldiers were killed.
