Middle East crisis: Israeli air strikes across Gaza
Gaza has been pounded in one of the most intense nights of shelling since the Israeli offensive began three weeks ago.
An Israeli airstrike hit the house of former Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, which is thought to have been empty at the time.
The Hamas-run Al-Aqsa television and radio building in central Gaza City was also left in ruins.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned of a "prolonged" military campaign in Gaza, saying Israel would continue to act until it had achieved its aim of destroying Hamas' network of underground tunnels.
