Gaza crisis: Israel releases 'aborted airstrike' video
The Israeli military says it is carefully selecting targets in Gaza, and has released footage of an airstrike being aborted because of children in the area.
The high number of civilian causalities has been criticised by both the UN and the US.
Since Israel began its offensive in Gaza on 8 July, 1,400 Palestinians have been killed, most of them civilians, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
Some 58 Israelis have been killed, of which 56 were soldiers and two civilians.
