Gaza displaced 'near breaking point' - UN
A quarter of Gaza's 1.8m people has been displaced by the Israeli military offensive, according to the UN.
The number of civilian casualties has also been criticised by the UN and the US.
Since Israel began its offensive in Gaza on 8 July, 1,400 Palestinians have been killed, most of them civilians, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
Some 58 Israelis have been killed, of which 56 were soldiers and two civilians.
Israel has defended its right to destroy Hamas arms and underground tunnels, and claims it never targets civilians.
