Islamic State conflict: Militants leave behind traps
In northern Iraq, Kurdish Peshmerga - fighting alongside Shia militia - have won back some ground from Islamic State militants.
But the Kurds say IS militants are fighting two wars - one conventional and one using guerrilla tactics.
Theys have planted hundreds of roadside bombs, and use suicide attackers and snipers to slow the advance of Iraqi and Kurdish forces.
Middle East correspondent Quentin Sommerville travelled with the Peshmergma to see up close the tactics IS militants are using.
