Retired Peshmerga fighters challenge IS in Iraq

Former Kurdish fighters or Peshmerga are coming out of retirement to take on military duties in the fight against Islamic State (IS).

They are answering a call from president Masoud Barzani, of the Kurdish semi-autonomous region, to make use of their experience in standing up to threats from the militant group.

BBC Arabic's Reda El Mawy followed Abdul Razzak Mohamed Ali, a Peshmerga in his late sixties, on a journey to reconnect with his past.
