The Syrian uprising against President Bashar al-Assad began in early 2011.
Since then the armed conflict between government forces and the opposition has not stopped in many cities.
Many areas are now out of the regime's control, and public services in these areas have been cut.
Almost four years on, how are people living in these areas coping?
