Lebanon's Syrian refugees - the facts and figures
Lebanon has introduced new restrictions on Syrian refugees entering the country to try to limit the flow of people escaping the civil war.
Previously Syrians were allowed to stay in Lebanon automatically for six months but as of Monday officials have been asking them to provide documents to show why they want to cross the border and how long they want to stay.
At least one in five people living in Lebanon is a Syrian refugee and the government says they country cannot cope.
