Growing condemnation of Islamic State Nimrud destruction

There is growing international condemnation of Islamic State for what's feared to be the destruction of the ancient Assyrian city of Nimrud, one of the world's most important historical sites.

According to officials in Iraq, the militants are looting the area before bulldozing the numerous shrines and statues dating back three thousand years.

The head of the UN's cultural agency condemned the "systematic" destruction in Iraq as a "war crime"
