Former soldier and City trader 'felt compelled' to fight IS

A former soldier and a City trader from the UK, who have travelled to Syria to join the fight against so-called Islamic State, say they felt compelled to do so after seeing photos and videos in which western hostages were murdered.

The two men are among a small number of foreign fighters who have joined Kurdish forces, and were fighting alongside the former Royal Marine killed in northern Syria last week.

The BBC's Quentin Sommerville has been talking to them.
