With the Syrian civil war now having raged for more than five years, hundreds of thousands of children have known nothing but a country in conflict.
Many young Syrians started their lives in the various camps and shelters that have sprung up across Europe and the Middle East, where they were born as refugees.
The BBC's Leone Ouedraogo and Joe Inwood travelled to northern Greece, where tens of thousands of people are finding refuge.
