Writer Nadine Kaadan helps Syrian children understand war

Nadine Kaadan has been writing and drawing stories since she was eight years old.

Now more than 20 years later, and with more than a dozen children's books in Arabic to her name, the Syrian author has just had her first story in the English language published.

Nadine spoke to BBC News about her new book and how she hoped her tales would help Syrian children make sense of the country's civil war.
