Holy Sepulchre Church: Discovery at 'Jesus's tomb' in Jerusalem

One of the holiest sites for Christians, a shrine inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, has been reopened after extensive restoration work.

While working on the shrine, known as the Edicule, the renovation team exposed two layers of marble slabs over what is said to have been the burial chamber of Christ.

The slabs have now been dated to Crusader times and to the 4th Century, when the Roman Emperor Constantine built the church.
