Synced videos show moment of Al-Ahli hospital blast

The cause of the explosion at the car park of Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza City on 17 October is still heavily contested. The Hamas-controlled Palestinian authorities in Gaza accused Israel of hitting the hospital with an airstrike. Israel said a misfiring rocket from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) group was to blame.

Several video clips have since emerged of the explosion and the moments leading up to it. We have synced three video clips - one from the Al Jazeera news network, one from a CCTV camera, and another taken on a mobile phone near to the blast site. There is not enough visual evidence to connect the aerial explosion to the hospital blast.
