BBC Verify looks at images from space that show how crowded Rafah is

Israel's military campaign in Gaza has reached the Strip's southernmost city - Rafah - where around 1.5 million Palestinians are sheltering.

Rafah is now one vast refugee camp, populated by people who have fled from cities, refugee camps and villages further north.

After two hostages were rescued by an Israeli raid, the city has seen intense aerial bombardment.

BBC Verify's Nick Eardley takes a look at how the situation in Rafah has evolved since the Hamas-led attacks on 7th October.
