Footage shows Indian navy rescuing cargo ship crew after Houthi missile attack
The Indian Navy has released footage of a rescue operation after a Houthi missile strike on a cargo ship off southern Yemen.
The owners of the Barbados-flagged True Confidence says two Filipino and one Vietnamese crew members were killed in the attack, which forced the crew to abandon the vessel.
They are the first deaths since the Houthis began targeting commercial shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden last November.
The Houthis say their attacks are to support the Palestinians in the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
