Haiti earthquake victim trains to be Paralympic athlete

According to the Haitian government, 230,000 people lost their lives as a result of the January 2010 earthquake. Another 300,000 people were injured.

Leon Ginsly suffered a serious spinal cord injury when his house collapsed, killing his wife and eight children.

He gradually started to walk again with the help of The Haiti Hospital Appeal and is now training to be a Paralympic athlete.
