The Richard Dimbleby Lecture 2013

In the 2013 Richard Dimbleby Lecture, leading philanthropist Bill Gates will explain his optimism for a world free of the debilitating disease, polio. He will explain why he is devoting so much of his time, money and influence to eradicating polio, and how we can all help to finish the job.

Since the launch of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Bill Gates has become a key figure on the international development stage, seeking innovative solutions to extreme poverty and poor health in developing countries.

The Richard Dimbleby Lecture will be broadcast on BBC World News on Saturday 2nd February at 0310 and 2210 GMT and on Sunday 3rd February at 1010 and 1710 GMT.
