Hillary Clinton: Afghanistan 'on the right track'
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said international efforts in Afghanistan are "on the right track", although she admits progress has not been made "fast enough".
Speaking ahead of a two-day international conference in Kabul, she said the priority was "helping the Afghan government get more capacity and deliver services".
She added that a power-sharing deal between Hamid Karzai's government and elements of the Taliban would be "under the most stringent conditions", saying that any group wishing to be involved "must renounce al-Qaeda".
