Sri Lankan cricket legend Murali on facing criticism
One of the world's finest cricketers has bowled his last ball on the international test match stage, and set a new world record.
In his final game, Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan become the first ever bowler to take 800 test wickets.
Murali, as he is known, is a seen as a hero in his home country, although he has also faced controversy over his bowling style.
He spoke to the BBC's Charles Haviland about retiring and the challenges he has faced in his career.
