UN: Flood-hit Pakistan faces its biggest disaster
The UN secretary general's special envoy for assistance to Pakistan has said that widespread flooding is the "biggest catastrophe" the country has ever faced.
Speaking from Islamabad, Jean-Maurice Ripert warned that billions of dollars would be needed for humanitarian needs and to later fund reconstruction.
More than 1,000 people have died in the flooding which is affecting up to 14 million people, many of who have lost everything.
