Typhoon disasters inspire Filipino musical, Rak of Aegis
A musical about the devastating effects of typhoons in the Philippines has opened in Manila.
The production, which was inspired by the Broadway show Rock of Ages, follows the story of an impoverished community as it struggles to cope with flooding.
The show's writers say they hope it will spark debate about disaster mitigation in the country, but also wanted to celebrate the resilience of the Filipino people.
