Sheriff's deputy held hostage by swarm of bees

A sheriff's deputy in North Carolina has been held hostage in his patrol car by a swarm of bees.

The officer had pulled over to help a broken-down lorry.

But the vehicle was carrying 60 boxes of bees and the insects took a liking to his patrol car.
