US general questions Obama Afghanistan withdrawal plan

The American general in charge of US marines has said President Obama's plan to start withdrawing troops from Afghanistan next July is encouraging Taliban insurgents.

General James Conway also said it would be a few years before the time was right to hand over to Afghan forces in some areas.
