Barack Obama pleads for tolerance in Koran-burning row

It is still not clear whether the American pastor who has sparked such international outrage with his threat to burn the Koran has definitely called the stunt off.

Pastor Terry Jones says he will not burn the books for now; but is again insisting on a meeting with the imam of the planned Islamic centre at Ground Zero.
