Joe Manchin: Democrat with sights on Obama's policies

Americans will soon take part in mid-term elections when hundreds of federal and state posts are up for grabs.

Barack Obama does not face the voters himself but many in his Democratic party fear heavy losses.

Since his inspirational campaign two years ago he's been accused of failing to deliver on the promise of change.

In some states, like West Virginia, the president is simply not welcome, as Mark Mardell reports.
