New York ready for Thanksgiving Day parade

New York City has been gearing up for this year's annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Nearly 60 giant balloons were stretched out along the streets of Manhattan and filled with helium to reveal their characters to watching crowds.

Amy Kule, the parade's executive producer, has said each parade takes one year to plan.
