Wikileaks reveals US diplomatic fears through secret cables

Controversial whistle-blowing website Wikileaks has begun releasing secret cables sent by US embassies back to the state department in Washington DC, giving an insight into current American global concerns.

Former US ambassador to Iraq Christopher Hill, now dean of the school of international studies at the University of Denver, told the BBC the release was "damaging and totally irresponsible".
