Wikileaks release: US rebuffed UK on hacker extradition

Former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown made representations to the US ambassador to stop the extradition of computer hacker Gary McKinnon, it has emerged.

The information was revealed on the Wikileaks website as part of the publication of hundreds of thousands of secret US diplomatic messages.

Other documents suggest China is ready to accept the reunification of North and South Korea under the control of Seoul.
