'Gadget cars' make their debut in Las Vegas

"Gadget cars" made their debut in Last Vegas at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

The show featured smart cars with self-parking devices which will be sold to Europe later this year and cars that can stream voice-activated radio stations and can lock mobile phones while the car is in motion.

Concept cars - which will never go into production - were also featured, with US carmaker GM showing off a "bubble car" that gives consumers an idea of what transportation might look like in the year 2030.
