President Obama leads silence for US shooting

US President Barack Obama has lead a minute's silence in the US for six people killed in a shooting in Arizona which left a congresswoman seriously wounded.

Barack Obama was joined by First Lady Michelle Obama and hundreds of White House staff members on the south lawn of the White House.
