PJ Crowley: US 'looking at sanctions' on Libya

The US is considering a range of responses to Libya's violent political crisis, including possible sanctions, and is consulting with the international community on future steps.

''We are looking at a full range of tools and options that are available to us to achieve our goal ... that certainly includes looking at sanctions that could be imposed," US State Department spokesman PJ Crowley told a news briefing.

He added that no decision had been reached yet.
