David Cameron calls for UN action on Libya

Prime Minister Britain David Cameron has said the UK would like to see a United Nations Security Council resolution condemning Libya's use of ''appalling'' force against demonstrators.

Speaking in Qatar, Mr Cameron said ''the world could move ahead as one'' in sending ''a very clear warning'' to Colonel Gaddafi and the Libyan armed forces.
